Today is 04/04/06.
I totally forgot,
And I thought you would too,
But I'm glad you didnt.
Two years ago,
You painted my life a crazy shade of everything.
Remember that time?
When you thought your dad was having an
affair?
How you called me,
and I had no idea what to tell you.
I think I wanted you to think of something else-
Happy thoughts,
So our conversation led us to your fishes,
The one you flushed down the toilet bowl.
I thought that was funny.
I also thought you were being cruel.
Remember bob?
You said it was a cute sound.
Bob was the name of a piece of glass.
or was it bobo or bobby?
The one we picked up from the street near my house.
And you took your black marker,
And we decorated it with polka dots and stripes.
Remember that time you learnt how to cook egg?
I was so proud of you.
What an accomplishment,
When you never even knew how to turn on the gas.
And that time when you made oreo cheesecake,
For your dad,
And we made a story out of all the pictures you took.
I thought it was stupid,
But I still have the file somewhere in my comp.
There are so many more others,
But I can't think right now.
Not because I forgot,
But because there's just too many to dig out.
I will always remember.
